Demand Planner

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate jointly with Operations to ensure all key activities are identified to ensure successful plan execution.
• Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectation.
• Creates production schedule and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization.
• Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule.
• Manage raw material inventory to ensure it meets the stated inventory holding level.
• Interacts with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from Production, Customer Service.
• Complete status reports for production progress, work in process.
• Any other duties as assign by Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• 3 years – 4 years relevant experience in material planning especially in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• JIT and inventory control and MRP exposure will be an advantage
• CPIM or equivalent certification will be an added advantage
• Well verse in Excel spreadsheet planning logic.Strong communication skills, proactive, collaborative and consensus driven
• Strong analytical skills, capable to analyze large datasets
• Can work in a cooperative, collegial manner across numerous business disciplines and diverse needs of various business units.
• Proficient in English & Mandarin.
• Able to multi-task & work under pressure in meeting tight deadlines
